At home I was greeted by the resident Pomeranians, Missy and Scout O'Doubt. Missy was old and sick, but sweet and kind to me. One morning I woke up and she wasn't with us any more. Scout was 6 years old and was only tolerant of puppy play to a certain point. When he had enough, he retreated to his kennel, and I knew that was off limits to me.
